Program Description

Celtic Weightlifting is programmed in-house by Tom and Pete, our British Weightlifting Level 2 coach, and runs three times a week. The programme is focused on improving lifting technique, accessory strength, and overall performance in the Olympic lifts, with the specific goals varying as the programme develops.

This class is actually brilliant for beginners. You get more coaching time and more time overall to practice than you would in a standard class, which makes it a genuinely great entry point if you want to learn to lift properly from day one. Equally, it's a serious session for more experienced lifters looking to refine technique and build strength, with programming that progresses week to week rather than just adding weight to the bar.

Built for beginners and experienced lifters alike

If you've never touched a barbell, you'll be taught properly from the ground up. If you've been lifting for years, there's real room to refine and push further.

Dedicated, progressive programming

Goals shift over time (technique, accessory strength, overall lifting performance) so you're always building on what came before, not just repeating the same session.

More individual coaching time than a standard class

Smaller technical focus means more attention on your positions, your bar path, your lifts.

Real technical expertise, not just someone counting reps.
